Electro Depot chooses HTVLED for a mobile digital display on a trailer: A tailor-made solution
When Electro Depot, a specialist in competitive pricing, chooses HTVLED To develop its digital signage network, it's clear that the decision stemmed from a thorough market analysis. With 90 stores spread across France, Belgium, and Spain, Electro Depot needed an innovative solution to promote its wide range of household appliances and multimedia products. Their choice fell on a mobile trailer equipped with a 5m² LED screen in P5.9mm, offering unprecedented flexibility for their promotional campaigns.
The constraints of the project
Electro Depot's request was particularly demanding. The customer wanted a trailer weighing less than 750 kg, so that it can be towed without requiring a specific license, while respecting a delivery within 45 days. This presented technical challenges that HTVLED's engineers and technicians successfully overcame.
The total weight of the trailer, which was to include a hydraulic mast, a steel structure, and other essential elements, had already reached approximately 615 kg, leaving only 135 kg for the LED screen itself. Furthermore, the trailer's dimensions (2.7m long) limited the screen size, imposing additional constraints. Despite these challenges, HTVLED was able to design a solution that perfectly met the specific requirements of the project.
The HTVLED solution: Innovation and performance
The first step was to define the screen dimensions at 2560mm x 1920mm, with a pitch of 5.9mm for outdoor use. This configuration has optimized the value for money, while ensuring a resolution suitable for dynamic display needs, such as promotions and video advertisements. The screen ratio, close to the 4:3, is ideal for audiovisual and graphic content, thus facilitating content updates.
However, since the screen size is not standard, HTVLED had to design some custom-made cabinets of 640mm x 960mm in P5.95mm for outdoor use. To comply with weight restrictions, these cabinets were manufactured in lightweight aluminum, allowing one to remain below the limit of 135 kg, while guaranteeing impeccable robustness and display quality.
Meeting deadlines: A challenge met
The project required a 45-day deadline, This required rigorous production management. HTVLED placed the LED module manufacturing and offices as a priority, mobilizing a dedicated team to ensure everything is ready on time. Once the quality tests Once completed, the LED screen was transported by express air freight, ensuring a fast delivery that met the customer's expectations.
